More internet troubles have been plaguing the apprentice house. But I'm back!
Saturday evening we had a lovely farm-to-table fundraising dinner hosted in Frye field. We scooted in after milking in time for the last couple of courses. What I had of the food was good, and the view was even better.

Sunday was pretty much business as usual. We had a new livestock apprentice, Jasmine, arrive, who will be finishing out the season with us. We also had a little excitement with Yann (formerly Jan) and another elevated temperature. He has been staying inside because he has gotten heatstroke both times we tried to let him out, but this time he had even been inside all day. We got him cooled down again and Andrew talked to the vet. They're not sure what's going on, but thinking he may have some kind of virus, so he's being treated and continuing to remain indoors.
Today, among all the other little projects, we started painting the hay barn addition. It's looking pretty good, in my opinion.
